Installing, Leveling & Fixing Base Cabinets
As Flatpax Bathroom cabinets are all wall mounted, you will need to determine the height you wish to install these at. The average height of bathroom cabinets is 850mm to the top of the benchtop.
  • Lift the cabinet into position, level and fix into the stud or noggin using a minimum of 8 gauge, 65mm long screws. If attaching to concrete, brick, steel or other sub surfaces seek advice from your hardware specialist for appropriate fixing methods.

  • To assist in installation, you may wish to secure a piece of timber underneath the cabinet to help hold the cabinet in position or use the assistance of cabinet support stands.

  • It is recommended at all times that you have the assistance of another person during the installation.

To join neighbouring cabinets, clamp cabinets together, re check levels and secure using 4 x 30mm screws in each corner of the cabinet, keeping a neat and consistent appearance. As you proceed through the run of cabinets, ensure end panels are installed at the same time.

* If you select a different height for your base cabinets, substitute the total height measurement for the 850mm measurement detailed above and continue with the remainder of the process.
