INSTALLING, LEVELLING & FIXING BASE & TOWER CABINETS
- It is important to start at the lowest point of the floor when installing base and tower cabinets.
- The most important aspect to a successful garage installation is the correct levelling of cabinets and this step begins at the time the first cabinet is placed in position.
- Position and level the next cabinet so it sits at the same height and level to the first.
- Check levels and then clamp, pre-drill and countersink and fix the cabinets together.
|
| Once all base and tower cabinets are in place, check levels one last time and using 65mm screws (not provided) fix to the wall. If your wall is masonry or an alternative substrate to studs, consult you hardware specialist for the appropriate fixing method. |

LEVELLING & FIXING WALL CABINETS
- The total height of a Flatpax garage is 2200mm from the lowest point of the floor.
- If your garage design includes a tower cabinet, work out from the tower to maintain the height and the levels.
- Position the first cabinet, check levels, pre-drill, countersink and fix the cabinet to the wall.
- Position and clamp the next wall cabinet to the first wall cabinet. Repeat the process of levelling and fixing.
